"Evaluating the Socio-Economic Impact of Family Presence on Business Success Among Dawoodi Bohra Migrants in Kuwait"
المستخلص
This research examines the impact of family presence on the business success and socio-economic well-being of Dawoodi Bohra migrants in Kuwait. The Dawoodi Bohra community, a significant group of Shia Muslims, has a longstanding tradition of migration for economic opportunities, with Kuwait being a prominent destination. However, many migrants face challenges in reuniting with their families due to legal, financial, and social barriers. This study hypothesizes that the presence of family members significantly enhances the business success of migrants by providing emotional support, operational assistance, and fostering social stability. Through a mixed-methods approach, including surveys and interviews with Dawoodi Bohra business owners in Kuwait, the research aims to quantify the benefits of family presence and identify the barriers to achieving family reunification. The findings are expected to offer valuable insights into how family dynamics influence business outcomes and suggest policy recommendations to support family reunification.
