Therapeutic Implications of Ahkam al Tajweed

This study aims to determine how the Ahkaam al-Tajweed, a set of rules applied during the memorization of the Quran is a science towards speech and voice regulation. Adherence to these rules while memorizing the Quran improves articulation and regulates the voice.

Physical observations were done on certain students and transformations were seen. The results indicate that students who previously faced speech and articulation problems showed transformation after beginning Quran memorization while adhering to Tajweed rules.
