H.E. Engr. Abdul Rahman Al Hammadi

H.E. Engr. Abdul Rahman has been serving as the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice of the United Arab Emirates since August 2023. He is also a Board Member of the UAE Space Agency since August 2018. With extensive experience in institutional leadership, strategic management, government development, and education and vocational training, he has played a significant role in advancing organizational excellence and public sector transformation.

Prior to his current position, he served as the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for Inspection and Support Services in the UAE since 2016, contributing to the development of institutional frameworks and the enhancement of operational efficiency. He previously served as the Director General of Abu Dhabi Vocational Education and Training Institute, in addition to overseeing the Support Services Department at the Institute of Applied Technology.

Throughout his professional career, Engr. Abdul Rahman has held several key leadership positions, including serving as an Engineer at Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), managing the Private Properties Office of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and serving as the Director of Services and Facilities Department at the Family Development Foundation. He also served as the Managing Director of Nasser Center.

He holds an Executive Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the United Kingdom, a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, a Higher Diploma in Chemical Laboratory Technology, a Diploma in Property Management from the Academy of Management, and a Production Project Management Diploma from Cambridge College in the UK. He also holds Diplomas in Human Resources and Strategic Planning from the University of Oxford in London, in addition to an ISO Certification in Project Management.
