Abstract
Since 2022 this world-wide guidance based on an international study of the German Labour Ministry is available on the RI website. Lots of best practices found around the world are summarized in „golden rules“ for being used in governments and enterprises around the globe, which are interested in increasing the employment rate of persons with disabilities. Important details will be presented in Abu Dhabi by a presenter, who led the research and initiated the RI guide as former chair of the RI work and employment commission. One of the most surprising results identified in the global investigation is the paradigm shift from the individual support for persons with disabilities like investing in their professional qualification towards more enterprise-centered approaches. Beside other examples one of the best practices found in the Netherlands will be explained in Abu Dhabi: Rehabilitation experts are helping enterprises in promoting an Inclusive Re-Design for finding an appropriate work-place for persons with disabilities The strategy for realizing this goal: The work-places of the whole company organisation has been analysed by social consulting firms/experts.
