The International Journal of Rehabilitation & Disability Studies (IJRDS) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing knowledge, research, and practice in the fields of rehabilitation, disability studies, and inclusive health and social care. The journal aims to provide a global platform for interdisciplinary dialogue, innovative research, and critical perspectives that contribute to improving the lives and rights of individuals with disabilities.

Scope:
IJRDS welcomes original research articles, systematic reviews, case studies, and policy analyses related (but not limited) to the following areas:

• Physical, occupational, and speech therapy practices

• Assistive technologies and rehabilitation engineering

• Psychosocial aspects of disability and rehabilitation

• Community-based rehabilitation and inclusive development

• Disability rights, advocacy, and policy

• Inclusive education and employment

• Mental health and neurorehabilitation

• Aging, chronic conditions, and disability

• Social integration, stigma, and identity

The journal encourages submissions from diverse academic disciplines including medicine, public health, psychology, social work, education, engineering, law, and human rights. It supports both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and values contributions from researchers, practitioners, policy-makers, and persons with lived experience of disability.
