Sharjah – 9 October 2026

The Rubu’ Qarn Center for Science and Technology, in collaboration with Emirates Scholar Center for Research and Studies, is preparing to launch the first phase of their strategic partnership through an interactive session titled “Scientific Research and Its Impact on Advancing the UAE's Vision in Artificial Intelligence and Education”.

The session will take place at the Rubu’ Qarn Center for Science and Technology in Sharjah on Saturday, 10 October 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, as part of the Center’s support for the Scientific Residency Program, which targets students from Grades 9 to 12.

The session will be delivered by Dr. Firas Habbal, President of Emirates Scholar Center for Research and Studies, and is specifically designed for students participating in the program. It aims to introduce them to the world of scientific research and deepen their understanding of the role they can play in shaping the UAE’s future in one of the most influential fields of our time.

Going beyond theoretical knowledge, the session seeks to spark students’ curiosity, inspire exploration and discovery, and help them understand how a research idea takes shape, how it can evolve into a project with tangible impact, and how artificial intelligence can enhance their research and educational journeys.

The session marks the first milestone in a broader strategic collaboration between the two centers, which includes a comprehensive program to support students participating in the Scientific Residency Program. The collaboration will encompass specialized workshops on research methodologies and academic writing, research mentorship and guidance to help students develop their projects, and support for scientific publication. It will also feature lectures delivered by specialized experts and researchers, alongside joint scientific events and research forums to be organized in the coming period.
