• grammar refinement
• translation assistance
• formatting references or tables

Requirements for Authors:

• Include an AI Usage Statement in both the cover letter and manuscript.
• Keep prompts and interaction logs and give them when asked for editorial review.

AI tools must not be used to:

• generate or manipulate research data
• create images or figures without explicit disclosure
• draft substantive sections of the manuscript without human review and verification
