Emirates Scholar Center for Research and Studies is committed to maintaining a fair, transparent, and ethical peer-review process in line with international publishing standards and the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Reviewers play a key role in ensuring the integrity and quality of scholarly publications.

Confidentiality

The peer-review process is strictly confidential. Reviewers must treat all manuscripts and associated materials as privileged information and must not share, discuss, or distribute them without authorization from the editorial office. Manuscript content must not be used for personal research or professional advantage prior to publication.

 

Ethical Conduct

Reviewers are expected to evaluate manuscripts objectively and fairly, based solely on their academic merit. Any suspected ethical issues—such as plagiarism, data manipulation, or duplicate publication—should be reported to the editorial office for further investigation.

Conflict of Interest

Reviewers must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence their impartiality, including personal relationships, collaborations, institutional affiliations, or financial interests related to the research. When such conflicts exist, reviewers should decline the review assignment.

Responsible Use of Manuscript Information

Information obtained during the review process must remain confidential and must not be used, shared, or incorporated into other work before the manuscript is published. Reviewers should also delete or securely dispose of manuscript files after completing the review.

 

Protection of Author Anonymity

Emirates Scholar journals apply a double-blind peer-review process. Reviewers must not attempt to identify the authors or reveal their own identity to the authors. All communication must take place through the editorial office or the journal’s submission system.
