Peer Review Policy

The International Journal of Automation and Digital Transformation (IJADT) employs a rigorous double-blind peer review process to maintain high scholarly standards in research on automation, AI, robotics, digital transformation, and industrial innovation.

 

Review Type

  • Double-blind peer review ensures anonymity for both authors and reviewers.
  • Promotes unbiased evaluation of manuscripts aligned with IJADT’s focus on technological innovation, industrial applications, and interdisciplinary methods.

Review Selection

  • Reviewers are global expertsin areas such as AI strategies, robotics, IoT, digital manufacturing, and industrial policy.
  • No conflicts of interestallowed (e.g., co-authorship, institutional ties within 3 years).
  • Authors may suggest 2–5 reviewers with justification or indicate exclusions; final selection is made by the editors.

Review Criteria

Reviewers evaluate manuscripts using a standardized assessment form covering:

  1. Originality: Novel contributions in automation, AI, robotics, or digital transformation.
  2. Scope Fit: Relevance to IJADT themes, including industrial digitization, smart manufacturing, and digital innovation policy.
  3. Methodology: Rigor in quantitative, qualitative, or computational methods; reproducibility; alignment with field standards.
  4. Results & Implications: Valid analyses with actionable insights for research, industry, or policy.
  5. Ethics & Standards: Compliance with COPE, AI disclosure policies, inclusive and transparent reporting.

Ethical Standards

  • Appeals: Authors may appeal decisions within 30 days via editorialoffice@ijadt.org; independent review completed within 45 days.

This policy ensures that IJADT maintains transparent, ethical, and high-quality peer review while promoting global research excellence in automation and digital transformation.

Figures , Tables, and Illustrations

  • Minimum resolution: 300 dpi
  • Accepted formats: PNG, TIFF, SVG
  • Figures should be editable where possible
  • Authors must obtain permission for third-party copyrighted materials

Research Ethics

The journal adheres to international ethical publishing standards:

  • COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines
  • Plagiarism screening prior to peer review

AI and Generative Tools Policy

If AI tools (e.g., language models, coding assistants) are used during manuscript preparation:

  • AI cannot be listed as an author

Diamond Open Access – No APC
