Dr. Suleiman Hamdan is a global education expert, researcher, and school improvement advisor with the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) in the United Arab Emirates. He works in designing and implementing effective school improvement systems and providing leadership and teacher development, school evaluation, and professional coaching and mentoring. He previously served as director of institutional effectiveness at the American University in Dubai and as an education consultant and university lecturer in Michigan, United States.
Dr. Hamdan’s contributions to global education span a period of over 40 years in the United States, the Middle East, and Asia, where he served in various capacities, primarily in accreditation and school improvement. This included leading over 100 school system accreditations across the globe and working with school districts and universities in the United Arab Emirates and the United States. His contributions included improved systems at the K-12 and university levels, where he led strategic planning, program evaluation, and institutional and program accreditation.
Dr. Hamdan holds a Master of Arts in Teaching, an Education Specialist in General Administration and Supervision and a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Curriculum and Instruction from Wayne State University in Michigan, United States.
